It has been almost five months since my last post. Since that time, I have moved my blog to WordPress, and decided to take on a different approach to blogging this time around. Rather than just posting recipes, I am going to be posting more of the foods I eat on a daily basis, kind of like a food journal. What better time for me to reintroduce myself to the blogging world than on the first day of the Vegan Month of Food, otherwise known as Vegan MoFo?

During the month of October, participating bloggers from all over the world will write as much as they possibly can about vegan food. Whether it’s recipes and pictures of food, discussions of new vegan products, or simply stories of vegan food experiences, there will surely be an abundance of interesting posts to read this month. I am planning to participate in Vegan Mofo this year for the first time, and I am really looking forward to it!
To break in my first post of the month, I decided to keep it simple with a nice bowl of apple-cinnamon oats and a cup of Celestial Seasonings tea.

Steel-cut oats cooked with diced apples and cinnamon, topped with almond butter and crunchy cereal.

Delicious white tea. I think this is a new favorite.
What a great fall breakfast. If only it wasn’t still 90 degrees here in Florida!
