effectively, i stopped eating meat following i got my two pet ducklings at the swapmeet about six months ago, what produced me go off meat was the easy fact that when i would google pekin duck in hopes of discovering a care sheet, all i would see was recipes. the ducks are almost adults(theyre bread to grow this rapid) and i enjoy them to death, and im pleased i could conserve at least 2 ducks from getting to be human meals.
anyway a month ago i attempted to go vegan and this lasted for a week, i stoped due to the fact i had no power and it was tough to analyze books and consentrate.
i want to start yet again but i need to know Each tiny thing about a vegan diet regime. factors like what foods need to i eat to have good brain function and if i must take any vits and what variety
ps. i study an report that explained individuals that are vegan experiance brain shrinkage and get dumber, is this genuine?????

Yeah..No. Not true in the slightest.
I’d say start with some veg starter kits…(links below). And get yourself a good multivitamin. (VegLife and Deva both make vegan multis.) Once you’ve gotten the hang of things, you won’t necessarily have to take a multi, but you may still want to.
Some say that if you eat a well-balanced diet, you won’t need a multi. I conceptually agree with this, but still recommend people take them – omni or veg*n – if for no other reason than trace minerals are becoming depleted in our soils and, as a result, so are the nutrients in our fruits and veggies.
The only things you really need to watch out for are B12 (and D if you live in a cloudy area). You can get both via fortified foods (B12 via fortified cereals, drinks, nutritional yeast & D via fortified nut/hemp/soy milk) or via supplements. D of course can also be obtained via the sun – but, as above, if you’re in a cloudy area, that doesn’t help. And, omega 3s.
Some say you Need omega 3s..some say they’re just the latest craze. Up to you on that one…you can get them through flax/hemp/chia seed/oil..walnuts…canola oil…Or you can take vegan DHA supplements or use Udo’s oil.
Beyond this, I’d say just figure out what you eat now and what would be changing. For instance, look at dairy and say – okay – what’s in it that i would be removing? (calcium, b vitamins (including b12), protein, and most milk is fortified with D). And what are the sources I could use to replace this? (google “vegan calcium sources”…”vegan protein sources”…you get the idea)
This process should give you a good idea of what it is you removed and some of the things you need to focus on adding to your diet. And of course if you chose to take a multi, it will help balance out any minor bits and pieces that may be missed one day or another..
Other than that, have fun with it. Almost anything one can make with eggs/dairy can be made vegan. There are a bazillion recipes online & you can always ask questions here.

Alright, so you want to try veganism. Veganism is a perfectly healthy diet, done right, just like any other diet. You can get EVERY SINGLE vitamin and nutrient you need from a non-animal source.
The best thing to do would be to learn how to cook, instead of getting used to buying premade special vegan foods. Whole, fresh produce is always better than all that overly processed food.
Things like beans, rice, veggies, fruits, nuts/seeds, spices, etc etc are greating bases for making tons of yummy dishes. I’m going to leave you some links to good websites that can help you out better than I can explain.

Veganforum.com is a fantastic forum with tons of useful information on veganism.
Veganessentials.com is a popular online vegan store if you ever want to treat yourself to something nice.
